We’re equally as crazy, if not crazier, so we understand and accept :)
They can leave on weekends. Outside of the Academy is the outside world. Although a lot of mortals disapprove of the Academy and may target students that leave.
Si. Good idea.
Yup :) 3 days to get your audition in!
I don’t understand your question o_o But yeah, that’s Alexei :)
He teaches ability for juniors, and by that it means he works with the junior class on controlling their powers and things of that nature. Alot of the teachers haven’t yet mastered their powers either, Northbend is a learning experience for everyone. Through teaching the students there’s a possibility that the teachers might learn things as well :) And don’t apologize, you just want to understand things. Also, welcome to Northbend :)
Delilah. She’s almost the dead soul mate’s physical double.
Run. The word was the only thing streaming through her veins as his eyes flash dark – darker than human irises and most certainly darker than they were before – and shift dangerously to her. Run. His teeth, how could they look canine, so much sharper and deadlier than any being she could ever know of? Run. She had to slap a hand to her leg and bite her lip so hard to get herself going, the fear in her body disguising itself as a paralyzing coldness. Run.
“This isn’t even possible,” She whispered to herself as she tried hard not to think of him while her feet took her away. She always deemed her friends from the cult ridiculous, with their unadulterated devotion to the undead and their worsening ways of sacrifice that involved daggers and shrapnel. But digressing from everything she’s ever taught by the Bible, she stood by them through it all and believed there was always hope to return them their sanity. That was the only reason she stayed with them. “Not the least bit possible.”
Rosalie had to catch her breath as she turned to the eternally unlocked doors of the abandoned church. The cult, her friends’ cult, did their mortal sacrifices on the paradoxically religious places in town and one of them included the back of this old church. As she had a bit of a headstart, she earned enough time to close the doors on the vampire chasing her. She had to cough a little and stop herself as she went her away around the dusty wrecked church pews. She barely had time to reach the altar when the vampire shouted from outside, “Don’t bother, sweetheart, I will have you no matter what.” Her knees only trembled more if that was possible, and she couldn’t help running, this time to the wooden confessional.
She coughed a little again and put a hand on her mouth, trying to make as little noise as possible. Christian prayers of faith, English and Latin alike, danced at the tip of her tongue and she let them consume her entirety, although the most recent memories of what happened back outside still lingered in her mind. Then again, how could they not? “Credo in Deum Patrem omnipotentem…” The blood streaming freely from those people’s open wounds. Begging, oh their pitiful begging of her name. Blood. Agony. Death. “Creatorem caeli et terrae, et in Iesum Christum…” If she thought more of what she did to her friends, she might have to scream and thrash around, and she wouldn’t be able to take it, so she forced herself to recite the prayers now and blew off the consequences to one side. “Filium Eius unicum, Dominum nostrum…”
Her structured chants slowly turned to beseeching for mercy, calling all the saints she knew and closing her eyes tighter to distract herself from what she did and what the person – if you can call him that – lurking outside would do to her. She was so gripped by her dealing with faith that she didn’t anymore hear or notice when the church doors opened and several footsteps echoed. Words continued streaming out of her and then slowly this time, she finished with an “Amen”.
That’s when the whole confessional was ripped to pieces – a bloodcurdling scream escaping out her mouth, the vampire’s hand suddenly clasping her throat. She barely had the courage to look him in the eye when his voice resounded in her ear, “Boo.”
He cried.
For the first time in his life, Dimitri cried. The newspaper he’d bought earlier that lay at his feet held the news responsible for his tears. She was dead. Naomi, the love of his life was dead. So was the unborn child she had been pregnant with. His child. They said she’d committed suicide but he knew that wasn’t true. It couldn’t be. The woman he knew and loved would never do such a thing. She would never commit suicide let alone kill her unborn child. “I should have been there” he thought “It’s all my fault”
Suddenly his sadness diminished and was replaced with anger. Not at her but at himself and his stupid curse. He stood up from his chair and grabbed the vase that sat perfectly on the coffee table. It was filled with yellow roses, her favourite flowers. His anger increased and he threw it at the wall. “It’s not fair!” he yelled “Why me? Why was I born with this stupid power? I didn’t ask for it! I can’t even control it! I don’t want it!”
He fell his knees and his sadness returned. He picked up a lone rose as tears filled his eyes. “It’s not fair” he said quietly “It’s not fair” he began to cry again. He looked up at the ceiling and closed his eyes. “Bring her back” he prayed. Dimitri didn’t really follow a religion or god but he did have belief that there was something up there. “Please bring her back” he pleaded “I’ll do anything! I’ll go to church, I’ll read the Bible or something, just bring her back to me”
It was no use. He opened his eyes. Nothing could bring her back. He looked at the rose in his hand and his mind flashed back to the last time he saw her, on the eve of his wedding night.
Naomi stood there, as beautiful as a butterfly.
“We’re getting married tomorrow” she said, her heavenly voice filling his ears
“I know” he replied walking towards her.
“I can scarcely believe it” she confessed, wrapping her arms around his neck.
“You couldn’t imagine getting married to someone as handsome as me?” he teased.
She giggled and then stopped abruptly. Her face showed nothing but horror.
“What is it? What’s wrong” he said, clearly confused.
“Y-You’re.. You’re fading!”
“No! Not now! Not yet! Please” he cried realising what was happening.
“Don’t go…” she said as she and their house faded away.
His tears turned into sobs.Yes, we got your audition :)
